It's my first REZ DAY. Nothing to report, really... I have been slowly gettign back on SL after a long hiatus, with a bit of a different attitude this time.

The third month gone, and THIS was a rollercoaster of relationships and emotions. On week to another, all diffferent. Falling for someone, tehen getting out of the relationships, both cases in a different way. A week seeems to be the lifetime of any given emotion in SL.

Another month gone already! And what a month: Founded a religion, met loads of new people, deepened old friendships, ... some quite rewarding too. I hope I have been helpful to anyone who has needed my contribution, as well. I think I am getting to know what it is about SL that we like...

Zack's been reading a lot of Philip K. Dick lately. Somehow SL feels like an alternate reality, parallel universe, or whatever. P.K. Dick conjenctured post-apocalyptic and interplanetary settler worlds where the occupants were deprived of ways to fulfill basic needs, and depicted scenes of immense nostalgia to the earth as it once was. In "Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch", he even had a game board with miniature items (similar to those in his short story "The Days of Perky Pat"). The game players immersed to the game world by means of a hallucinogenic drug.
Now, we don't need drugs to immerse into SL. What are our deprivations? What is it we actually seek in this alternate relity?
Inquiring minds want to know...

A roller coaster ride of a month is now past as Zack Wonder reflects on his experiences in SL. Since the early whirlwinfd tour of clubs he has settled in his office and only goes out to the "select" ones... He has found that being helpful to others reaps unexpected rewards. Now for easter, a few days offline will do him good.
