About My First Life

Part-time flirt, full-time blonde.

I am a sweet, young(ish) insolent mis-placed Singaporean lesbian living in the UK.

more to follow...

On Tuesday January 19th 2010 I had the lens in my right eye replaced as I had cataracts. So my being online (either here or in SL) will be vey limited for the next four weeks or more.

After waking this morning and opening my eyes, WOW, being able to see again without the need for spectables is amazing. But now the long (often boring) wait whilst my right eye recovers from the operation...

I regard this as a training course because in about six to eight weeks the lens in my left eye will be replaced for the same reason so then I'll know what to experience etc...

Further updates to be given in due course...

Friday May 21st: Left eye will be operated on so as above regarding my being online for upto a month...

The morning after: Left eye is sore. Its been 'weeping' but thats normal. I think it'll be less sore once my partner has cleaned it then its had its first eye drop. Then the 4-weeks of drops...

Before yesterdays operation, the consultant told me my right eye was -12 but is now -0.025 so they will do my left eye so that after it has healed it will be the same or as close to that as possible. This means I will need low-prescription spectacles for reading but for distance reading (letters held at arms length, computer monitor, etc)I won't need spectacles. But because of the time it'll take for the left eye to fully heal, it will be about 4 to 6 weeks before I'll be able to get those 'reading spectacles'.

Far better than high-prescription 'beer glass bottom lenses' so SORTED ☺

About My Second Life

How to describe myself...
Full-time blonde, part-time flirt.

I think the best way is what others say about you so:
"a complex but talented, funny lady." Nur Ophuls
"The best looking build in the sandbox yve" Casandra Streeter
"cool, you rock" Tabitha Streusel
"ur amazing 2" Tabitha Streusel
"amazing only begins to describe you.."
"like the begining of something very beautiful..."
""

Or to quote Bindi Renard, "The friendships in here are amazing, but from what I see "relationships" dont seem to fly all that well." So true, I'm speaking from experience! Although my versions is:
A friendship is easily found,
A friendship that lasts... takes time and work.
A partnership MAY develop,
A partnership that lasts... takes a LOT of work.

And, "Many forget too....that behind every avatar theres another human being." Clever ain't she.

Nah, your mistake was using the calculator batteries in something other than the calculator ☺

Worked it out in my head which explains the mistake. I'll take your word for it that next year doesn't have 368 days.

tsk Crispin, either your calculator batteries need replacing else recharging.

My next birthday is in 361 days not 364.

I tried to come back but to quote the young policeman yesterday, "It might be better if you passed your driving test before attempting reverse or using another gear".

Whilst on the topic of gear...

Better not to try wearing your clothing inside out when allergidc to angora as it will make your skin itch!

I hope that didn't sound too catty but I was feline like it :P~
